Jason Stapleton, 48 years old, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024. He grew up and went to school in Centerville, Indiana, and was in the class of 1994. Jason was the General Manager of several restaurants in the Cincinnati area over the past 20 years. Jason was an avid animal lover and gave a home to more than twelve dogs over two decades. His passion was to open a rescue for special needs dogs.

Jason is survived by his husband, Scott Selvaggio, whom he was with for 23 years, including 8 years of marriage. Survivors also include his mother, Avis (Jones) Frame of Connersville, IN; his father, Jerry Stapleton of Pennington Gap, VA; a sister, Sarah (Jerod) Adams of Liberty, IN; nephews, Isaac Adams of Liberty, IN., USMC Lance Corporal Kayne Adams, and Conner Crossen of Cincinnati, OH. Jason also leaves behind an aunt he was close to, Jennifer (Eder) Jones Santos of Celebration, FL.

Viewing for Jason will be Friday, March 29, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00, with the service to immediately follow. Friends and family are invited for a meal at the William G. Scott House adjacent to the funeral home afterward.
