Janet (Smith) Crutcher 82 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on March 28, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 27, 1941, in Hazard, Kentucky to Charles W. and Elsie Gillispie Smith and lived in this area most of her life.

Janet was a homemaker, she enjoyed Southern gospel music and attending church.  She was a longtime member of The Pentecostal Tabernacle and also attended Bethel Chapel.  She was a current member of Tabernacle Pentecostal Ministries in Kentucky.

She is survived by her two daughters Lorretta Smith of Somerset, and Linda White of Oklahoma, one son Brian (Linda JO) Crutcher of Richmond, Indiana, grandchildren Tanner (Amber)Smith and Caleb (Bryanna) Smith of Kentucky, Chuck, Chad and Preston White, of Oklahoma. Great-grandchildren Ramsey, Peyton, and Marshall of Oklahoma and Austin and Travis of Kentucky, and one great-granddaughter due any day, Auburn Lee, one Sis-in-law Nancy Smith of Centerville and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Ruth, Virginia, and Mary Lou, five brothers Charles "Junior", Eugene, James "Billy", Ishmael "Sonnie", and David, One Son-in-law Charles "Roger" Smith, one grandchild, and her honorary granddaughter Rachel Elizabeth Dew.

She had other honorary children Steven (Brenda) Smith, Randy Jo Ross, Tracy Shell, and Jennifer "Prissie" (Tommy) Bradford, Honorary Grandchildren Hailey (Justin) Brit, Jessica, Krista, Derick Dew Honorary Great-grandchildren Schylar, Gracelynn, Reese, and Mylee; she had several others (too many to name) that called her mom or grandma.

Services will be at 1:00 PM April 1, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with nephews Andrew Lawson, Steven Smith, and Matthew Smith officiating; burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
