Jane Johnson 78 of Richmond passed away on February 5, 2024, in her home after a short illness. She was born October 27, 1945, in Richmond to John Garton and Emma Louise Burgess Ellis and lived here all of her life.

Jane was a chef and worked at the restaurant in Elder-Beerman, Heritage Regency, and the Sterling House.

She was an avid reader and a music lover.

She is survived by her four children Vincent Johnson of Richmond, Brian Johnson of Marysville, Ohio, Christina (Kevin) Shows of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Danielle (Steven Gillotti) Dolphin of Richmond, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters Mary Ellis and Cecelia Spicer both of Richmond; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Wendell Johnson, two grandchildren, and ten brothers and sisters.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
