Henry Clay Mays 87 of Economy, Indiana passed away on October 30, 2023. He was born May 31, 1936, in McKee, Kentucky to Caner and Rosa (Gray) Mays.

Clay lived in Economy, Indiana since 2002, where he resided with his nephew Lee (Cheryl) Mays; he was a member of the Boston Holiness Church in Boston, Indiana.

Clay enjoyed the outdoors, he could sit in the woods for hours watching his bee hives and listening to the creek.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Clay was preceded in death by his siblings; five sisters Beatrice Brumback, Ivory Webb, Elizabeth Mays, Emetta Sizemore, and Clara Lainhart; three brothers Daniel Mays, Loyd Mays, and Boyd Mays.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with David Rose officiating; burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
