Harold Eugene "Robbie" Robinson Jr. 83 of Richmond passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at home surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was born January 9, 1940, in Richmond to Harold Eugene "Count"  and Bettie Oxendine Robinson Sr. and lived here all his life. He retired from Alcoa and Silgan and was grievance chairman for the United Steelworkers Union Local #5163. Robbie was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Robbie was the past Post Commander of American Legion Legion Post #65, past Department Vice Commander, and past 10th District Commander, a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #65, and a Post 65 rider. He was also a member of the Whitewater Valley Motorcycle Club, the Druids Lodge, and the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Midge, his children Timi (Chris) Robinson-Bunger, Dionne Robinson, Harold Eugene "Robbo" (Brooke) Robinson III, and Tara Robinson, eight grandchildren Marqus (Cayenne) Mills, Chandler (Danielle) Robinson, Chad (Alexis) Robinson, Chazz Robinson, Zane (Ciera) Robinson, Josh Sims, Trevor )Paige) Bunger, and London McBee, great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Rodney Robinson, R.D (Marilyn) Robinson, Eric (Cassandra) Robinson, Robin (Carlos) Castillo, Shirley Erby, and April Mack-Williams, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Peggy Mitchell. Special thanks goes to Tina Sims for all of her love, help, and support.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. burial will be in Earlham Cemetery with military honors.
