Gordon Wayne Fetters Sr., 92, of Richmond, passed away August 3, 2026, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1933, in Darke Co., Ohio to John Henry and Lela Irene Brown Fetters and lived here most of his life. 

 Gordon served in the National Guard; retired from Dana/Perfect Circle and was a member of the Eastern Indiana Beekeepers. 

 He had a love for his neighbors and passion for life; showing coon dogs, ponies, Dexter cows, raising a garden, selling produce, racing at Eldora Speedway and even learning to fly. 

 Gordon is survived by his three children; Gordon Wayne Fetters Jr. of Ansonia, Cindy Ann (Raymond) Neitman of Farmersville, Susan Kay Hess (Jeff Shiverdecker) of Greenville, six grandchildren Jason Wayne Neitman, Rebecca (Shawn Pennell) Neitman, Shane (Jennifer) Hess, Kayla Hess, Austin (Jade) Hess, Heather (Jesse) Besecker; nineteen great grandchildren, Stella, Reece, Layla, Hunter, Knox, Gavin, Jeighla, Jenna, Kinley, Addilyn, Adrianna, Colten, Oaklee, Harper, Grant, Logan, Bradley, Casey, Maya; one sister Sandra Rich of Greenville, several nieces and nephews. 

 He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eleanor Claire Fetters who died in 2009, one grandson Adam M. Fetters, his daughter in law Lynn Fetters and one brother David Fetters. 

 Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday August 6, 2026, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. John Shepherd officiating; entombment will be in the Earlham Mausoleum.
