Gloria J. Graw 88 of Richmond died February 18, 2024, at Reid Health. She was born May 2, 1935, in Waco, Kentucky to Charles and Josephine McDonald McGovern and lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, singing, playing the harmonica, organ, and banjo, baking, and being a good cook.

She is survived by her seven daughters Barbara Jo "Bobbie Jo" Kersey of Scottsburg, Dessalena Williams of Scottsburg, Gloria June Porter of North Vernon, Carol Sue Lyons of Indianapolis, Darlene Kay Cloninger of Richmond, Charlene Fay Cable of Richmond, Elizabeth Louise Piercy of Blanchester, Ohio.

Nine sons Donald Wayne Graw of Scottsburg, David Franklin Graw of Richmond, Richard Allen "Dick" Graw of Lexington, Kentucky, Virgil Ray Graw of Richmond, Randy Clay Graw of Scottsburg, Timothy Eugene "Tim" Graw of New Albany, William Albert "Bill" Graw of Indianapolis, Jason Duane Graw of Richmond, and Matt "Jughead" Graw of Richmond. There are numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, one sister Emma Turpin of Richmond, nieces, and nephews. Her husband Donald died July 15, 2002. She is also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Gladys McGovern and Josephine Jennings, and four brothers James, John "Burt" Earl, and David McGovern.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 23 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Miller officiating. Gloria's burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
