George T. Edwards age 87 of Richmond died Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Brickyard Health/Golden Rule after a short illness. He was born October 25, 1936, in Gray Hawk, Kentucky to Albert and Nancy Turner Edwards and lived here most of his life. He formerly worked for Wallace Metal Products and J.M. Hutton Company.

Survivors include two children Rita Edwards and Marvin Edwards, one granddaughter Amy Chavez, one great-grandson Sequoyah Chavez, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Vera, one son Ellis Edwards, and his brothers and sisters.
