Gearldean (Jerri) Abrams Mancuso age 65, was called home on April 9th, 2024. Jerri was born on January 30th, 1959 to Robert Abrams and Ruby Baker in Richmond, IN.

A graduate of Hagerstown High School in 1977. She enjoyed her time playing high school softball. After she graduated she was a stay-at-home mom for many years until she worked secretarial jobs in Greens Fork, Centerville, and Trenton, NJ.

She resided in Greens Fork, IN for more than half of her life before marrying Michael Mancuso and moving to Freehold, NJ where they adopted their 4-year-old parrot, Birney. Jerri was an avid animal lover and could be often found jamming out to oldies music, shopping, and antiquing. She had a heart the size of an ocean. Her best times were spent being Mamaw Jerri.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband.

She was mother to Charles M. Cheeseman and Jera M. Becker (Jimmy). Mamaw to Elly, Bella, Nolan, Anthony, Andrew, and William. Sister to Rita Sams, Joyce Lathrop (Doug Buhl), Debbie Abrams (Stan Bishop), and Tracey Hosier (Ryan).

Jerri's greatest love was for her Birney Bird, whom she raised for 18 years. Her departure comes as a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her family.
