Gary Michael Sigler 65 of Richmond died February 10, 2022, at Reid Health after a long illness. He was born July 19, 1956, in Florida to Elmer and Vera Isaacs Sigler and lived in Florida Arizona, and Canada before returning to Richmond. He was a self-employed businessman. He founded Liberty Acres United Animal Sanctuary and volunteered at the Richmond Farmers Market with its founder Charlie Springer.

Survivors include his partner Joanita Wesler, aunts, uncles, and cousins, his special friends Alexia and Stephanie Springer. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral home is handling services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Liberty Acres United Animal Sanctuary 3546 East Mitchell Road Liberty, Indiana 47353.
