Garry Lee Houser age 63 of Richmond died unexpectedly at his home Friday, June 30, 2023 at his home. He was born November 7, 1959, in Richmond to John and Verdena Lady Houser and lived here all his life. He formerly worked at Winandy Greenhouse Construction, Steven's Wire Produce, and Cambridge Square Apartments.

Garry was a member of the Model T Ford Club, Model A Ford Club, Jaycees, and Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Group. He volunteered at the Model T Museum and restored vintage automobiles. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, and collecting clocks.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Ina, four sons Tom (fiancé Susan Tracy) Watts, Scott ( Bonnie) Watts, Marcus (Carla) Watts, and Shawn Watts, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his sister Tammy Houser, nieces and nephews, a special friend Dale Savage, and his pet dog Roxy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Dewey and Ada Lee Houser, his uncle Ronald Houser, and his pet dog Shadow.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. July 7, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, with burial in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
