Fred Loudy 77 of Centerville died with his family by his side February 4, 2024 at Reid Health. He was born January 3, 1947 in Bristol, Tennessee to Virgil and Faye Vanover Loudy and lived here most of his life. He formerly worked at Johns-Manville and retired as an OTR truck driver. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany.

Survivors include his two children Fred Loudy Jr. and Lora Kay (Robert) Creech, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, his sister Goldie Richardson, nieces and nephews. His wife Shirley Sue Loudy died August 5, 2023, and is preceded in death by his other brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday February 9, 2024 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. James Webb officiating. Fred's burial will be in Goshen Cemetery with military honors.
