Ethel M. Cordell, 84 of Richmond, died September 25, 2025, at The Willows. She was born on March 28, 1941, in Richmond to Lawrence and Bernice Spaulding Cordell and lived here all her life. She worked in childcare and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother Richard (Barbara) Cordell, her sisters-in-law Jan and Jane Cordell, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ken and Walter Cordell, and one sister, Stella Cordell Ryan.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev Phillip Hodgkin officiating. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery.
