Ernest L. "Ernie" Mann 69 of Richmond died August 14, 2021, at Reid health after a short illness. He was born June 27, 1952, in Richmond to Dean and Josephine Clark Mann and lived here all his life. Ernie formerly worked for Richmond Community Schools and retired from the Wayne County Courthouse. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Ernie is survived by his wife JoAnn who he celebrated 48 years of marriage on June 29, 2021. He is also survived by one daughter Melissa Saylor (Shanda Hall), one son Ernie Mann Jr (Jerica Gadd), five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers Charles (Cathy Via) Mann and Micah (Sharon) Mann all of Richmond, one sister Stella (Denny) Anderson of Grinnell, Iowa, nieces, and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, a special friend Lesa Mann, his pet dog Rocky, and pet cat Bobby.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M.Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial will be at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
