Ellen Kay McClurg-Lake, 88, of Richmond, died June 4, 2025, at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville. She was born on April 26, 1937, in Richmond to Cecil and Edith Rosier Pullon and lived there for her entire life. She retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years of service and also worked as a real estate agent for Jenkins Real Estate. She is a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Kay loved her family and friends and enjoyed making candy and sharing it.

Survivors include two children, Roy McClurg and Stephanie Boggs, and Lance McClurg, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one sister, Barbara Combs, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Howard McClurg, and her second husband, Virgil Lake, and two daughters, Barbara Sue McClurg and Vina McClurg.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery.
