Edward L. Adkins 77 of New Paris, Ohio passed away on January 2, 2024, at Reid Health after a long illness. He was born March 17, 1946, in Logan, West Virginia to James A. and Irene V. Browning Adkins; he lived in Orlando, Florida for most of his life before moving back to this area five years ago.

He worked for Hubbard Construction as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.

Edward is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tia Adkins, one son Edward L. Adkins Jr., one daughter Kimberly (Gary) Hartwell, one stepson Lucas Smith, his step-granddaughter daughter whom he loved as his own Brielle Robinson, three grandsons Dakota J. Adkins, Holden Hartwell, Caleb Hartwell, one great-grandson Wyatt Adkins, one brother James Adkins, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his stepdaughter Casey Robinson.
