Edith Parker 80 of Richmond passed away April 17, 2024. She was born August 24, 1943, in Jackson Co., Kentucky to Bill and Betty Tussey Callahan and lived in this area most of her life.

She was a homemaker and loved fiercely in this order: her Jesus, her family, and singing about Jesus.

Edith is survived by her husband of 65 years Ed Parker, three children Eddie R. (Linda) Parker, Pattie S. (David) Barnett, Candace (Jim) Mounts, six grandchildren Stuart, Lynsey, J.R., Holly, Austin, Tiffany, ten great-grandchildren Jessica, Max, Payton, McKensey, Charlotte, Jai, Jaysen, Abigail, Aiden, Emmanuel, and one on the way, one great-great-granddaughter Aniyah

She was the proud 11th of 13 brothers and sisters; lovingly known as Sis, Baby Sister, Aunt Sis, Mamaw, and Mamaw Ed. She is survived by three brothers Clyde (Penny) Callahan, Harold (Norma) Callahan, and Raleigh Callahan; in-laws Charlie (Nancy) Parker, Mike (Janie) Parker, Glenna (Dennis) Wagner, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Mitch, two grandsons Nathan Parker, and Marvin Barnett, nine brothers and sisters Berniece, Ethel (Thea) Wilder, Dorothy (Farris) Brandenburg, George (Hazel) Callahan, JR Callahan, Perry Callahan, Irene (Bill) Blevins, Freda (Don) Wyatt, Billy Callahan, and her sister-in-law Sue Callahan, her mother in law, father in law, three brothers and sisters in law.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with her grandsons J.R. Mounts and Stuart Parker officiating; burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
