Earl George Bennett, previously of Centerville, IN, passed away on January 14, 2026, at home in Jay, FL, with family at his side.  He was born on September 4, 1931, in Jackson, KY, to George Patrick and Julie Bennett.

Earl proudly served in the Army during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. Following his military service, he worked for over 40 years at Johns-Manville in Richmond, IN.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Boatright, and three sons: Rick Bennett (Dee), Gary Bennett, and Tommy Bennett (Helen). Ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca, son Allen, grandson Nathan, and daughter-in-law Wanda Bennett. Four sisters, Mary Field, Stella Bennett, Jesse Thompson, Janet Pruitt and one brother, Herman Bennett.

Services will be 1:00PM Friday, January 23, 2026 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor John Shepherd officiating; burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
