Dwight Otis Brockman 68 of Pershing passed away on September 6, 2024, in his home with his family. He was born October 26, 1955, in Richmond to Otis and Thersa Mryl Dines Brockman and lived in this area all his life.

He was an over-the-road truck driver; he regularly attended Galilean Baptist Church.

Dwight is survived by his wife of 24 years Noel Brockman, one brother Clarence (Cindy) Brockman, three sisters Geraldine (Wayne Ramsey) Shelton, Sharon Michaels, Opal (Eddie) Whitaker, his special sister-in-law and caregiver Carole Lynn Sherwood, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara Luna.

The family would like to thank his Reid Hospice nurses Mandy and Heather for all their special care.

A Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Milton Westside Cemetery in Milton, Indiana. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
