Dorsie Lairson Coffey Roslansky 88 of New Pairs, Ohio died August 30, 2022. She was born March 26, 1934, in Estill County, Kentucky to Truman and Lillie Mae (Stamper) Lairson and lived in the Richmond area most of her life. She was a 1953 graduate of Estill County High School in Irvine, Kentucky.
Dorsie then moved to Indiana to take a job at Moskins Credit Clothing. Later she went to work for Alcoa where she worked in the payroll department for 33 years. She also served on the board of the Alcoa Federal Credit Union for 16 years. After retiring she worked for The Internists and Gause Florist.
Her survivors include a son, David (Jennifer) Coffey, two grandchildren Shelby (Jonathon) Merryman, and Dominic (Rebecka) Coffey, two great-grandchildren Xavier, and Magnolia. Also, her brother Linville (Iris) Lairson, two nieces Anna Stubblefield, and Audrey Keys, three nephews Joe (Nancy) Lairson, Westley Lairson, Michael (Sheila) Lairson, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Other survivors include Roslansky children: Ken Jr. Peggy, Pam, and Penny.
Special children in her life include Emorie, Samantha, and Madison Taylor;
Elizabeth Payne, Alexander Payne, and their families; and a very special great nephew Chad Stubblefield, who offered her a kidney.
She is also survived by a very special friend and companion, Donald McEwen.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Everett Coffey, her second husband Kenneth Roslansky Sr., her grandparents and great grandparents, one brother Winfred Lairson, and one niece Mary Beth Rodgers.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on September 7, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. September 8, 2022, at St. Mary's Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family via the guest book at stegallberheideorr.com .
