Donald M. Van Patten, 78, of Richmond, passed away May 2, 2025, at Reid Health. He was born April 5, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio to Dwayne Van Patten and Marcella Clark Thieman.

Donald served in the Navy and worked as an Aviation Mechanic for General Electric.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Basch, and his son Brian Van Patten.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
