Donald L. "Donny" Russell, 66, of Centerville, died August 13, 2025, at Reid Health. He was born September 20, 1958, in Richmond to David and Marjorie (Hudson) Russell and lived here all his life. He worked as a machinist and tool and die maker, and maker at NATCO, Quality Tool, Richmond Elevator, and Boston Tool. He also played guitar with numerous bands in the area.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Cindy, two children, Andrea (Jeremy) Blake and Brad (Alexandria) Russell, his grandchildren Alyson (Nigel), Graden and Clayton Blake, Aubrey, Hailey, Chaislye, and Kaison Russell, his sister Karen (Steve) Geier, his brother Steve (Julia Russell), his sister-in-law, Becky Russell, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Russell.
