Diana Deardorf age 65 of Richmond died December 20, 2022, at Reid Health. She was born October 28, 1957, in Richmond to Charles E. and Jervis Fugate Amburgey and lived here all her life. She worked in customer service for the insurance business and was an Army veteran. Diana loved her family and always wanted the best for them. She was always ready to smile and find the humor in things. She laughed without holding back at all the funny memories and experiences she had in life.

Survivors include her boyfriend Chad Haskell, two children Shawn (Richard Seger) Dalhoefer of Youngstown, Ohio, and Shawna (Joe) Hembree of Mt. Airy, Georgia, four grandchildren Katie, Adam, Grace, and Owen Hembree of Mt Airy, Georgia, two brothers Keith (Mary Ann) Amburgey of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Ronnie (Julie) Amburgey Georgetown, Kentucky, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service for Diana will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022, in the chapel at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. David Eales officiating. A visitation will follow the memorial service from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the funeral home.
