Dennis Farmer, 83, of Richmond died unexpectedly on January 5, 2025, at the Miami Valley Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was born December 14, 1941, in Beattyville, Kentucky to Russell and Gathel Brandenburg Farmer and lived in Richmond most of his life. He retired as the owner of Farmer's Television and Repair Service. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Ruby, two children Gregory (Heather) Farmer and Nancy (David) Storad, five grandchildren Austin and Taylor Storad and Spencer, Sydnee, and Harrison Farmer, one great-grandchild Kaiden Storad, nieces and nephews, and Fornie (Sherrie) Benge who he considered to be another son. He is preceded in death by one son Dennis Scott Farmer, his parents, and half-sister Gayle Farmer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, with Rev. Curt Neis officiating. Dennis will be buried in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
