Delores Huckery 85, of New Paris, passed away May 16, 2021, at her home after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1936, in Jackson County, Kentucky, and has lived in this area all of her life. Her parents Herman and Mae St. John Bennett are both deceased.

Delores worked with her parents at Bennett's Upholstery and owned Dee's Upholstery; she retired from Bullerdick Furniture.

She attended Ft. City Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her children Ronald (Lisa) Huckery of Liberty Township, Ohio, Gary (Penny) Huckery of New Paris, Ohio, Renee (Dave) Davenport of Crossville, TN., six grandchildren Katelyn (Alex) Monson, Joshua Huckery, Acacia (Brandon) Beasley, Ashley (Nick) Jones, Jacob (Miranda) Davenport, Jack (Rachel) Davenport, and twelve great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Huckery who died February 6, 1998.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bray; burial will be in Spring Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
