Deborah Lynn Ward 64, of Richmond, passed away February 15, 2021, at Reid Health after a short illness. She was born March 21, 1956, in Connersville to Delbert and Betty Sullivan Strait and lived in this area most of her life.

Deborah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her mother Betty Schisler, three children Delayna (Chris) Newcomer of Greens Fork, Robert Sheffer Jr., Jerra (Kelly) Dolan both of Richmond; six grandchildren Megan, Sarah, Payton, Brayden, Lexi, Bailee, two great-grandsons Aiden, Carson, three sisters Cynthia, Sharon, Brenda, one brother Gary, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, her step-father Thomas Schisler, and her husband Ronnie Ward who passed away in 2012.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 22, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Elder Jeffery Baker Sr. officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
