David Jones, 59 years of age of Richmond, Indiana went to be with his Lord on August 19, 2023, at Arbor Trace Nursing Facility. He was born October 26, 1963, in Richmond, Indiana 47374 to Dewey and Velma Allen Jones and lived here all his life.

David fought a long battle with Cancer. To say he was a fighter is an understatement. David kept going until he could no longer go.

He was a self-employed truck driver and owner of Jones Trucking. He also worked for various Trucking Companies including Romco and Culy.
David was a member of the Word of Truth Baptist Church. He enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, auctions, trading items with his friends, and morning breakfast at McDonalds with his friends. David found the most unusual items and always had a buyer for the items. He enjoyed Antiques and Classic Cars.

David is survived by one Niece Heather Jones-Rose, great nephew Lane Mowery, and his great niece Alexis Rose, whom he loved and adored, all of Richmond. David leaves behind several special friends Eddie Stenger, Michael Emmons, Marvin Chavis, Rebecca Williams, Dale & Diana Smith, Mike Mitchell, and various other friends. He also leaves behind special cousins Carolyn Isaacs of Nancy, Kentucky, Joseph Callaway Isaacs, and Ed "Willie" Edward Jones. He also leaves behind his best 4-legged friend Bruno Jones.

David is preceded in death by his Mom and Dad and one brother Steve Jones who died May 5, 2013. He is also preceded in death by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and various other relatives.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 PM on August 24 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. David's last wishes were to be cremated.
