Craig Edward Hale 68 of Liberty passed away June 12, 2026, after a short illness. He was born in Richmond to Harold and Alberta Smith Hale and lived in this area most of his life.

He was a member of the Unity Holiness House of Prayer.

Craig enjoyed playing his guitar and singing in church; he loved his family and his infectious personality will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Charlotte, three children Kellie Gransbury of Liberty,

Steven (Rita) Hale of Bartow, Florida, Scott (Jennifer) Hale of Centerville, Ohio; seven grandchildren Hannah Hale, Kenton Hale, Clayton Hale, Aiden Hale, Addison Hale, Madison Gransbury, Sierra Gransbury, two great grandchildren Jazzmyn Cassiano, Jaedyn Hale; one brother David Wayne Hale of Connersville, one sister Debra (David) Lawrence of Richmond, several  nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Rhonda Hale.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday June 16, 2026, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Justin Rudicil officiating; burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
