Clarance Jones, age 78, of Richmond passed away on April 25, 2022. He was born June 12, 1943, in Valley Creek, TN, to the late Elden and Lillian Jones.

He was of the Church of God faith. He was the owner and operator of CJ Auto Sales in Richmond from 1967 to 2008. and enjoyed selling, working on, and collecting model cars. Over the years he sponsored race cars and local youth baseball teams.

Clarance is survived by his wife Kathleen, whom he married on November 26, 1983; three children Charmin (Greg) Caldwell of West College Corner, two sons Marty Jones of Centerville, Lewis (Doren) Jones of New Westville, seven grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, two brothers JC (Nan) Jones, Harold Jones both of Lafollette, TN., several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Evelene Lantz, and one great-grandson Lane.

Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, April 29, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Joel McIntyre officiating; burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
