Charles Eugene Watson, 82, walked into Heaven on November 14, 2025, surrounded by his family.  He married his loving wife of 60 years, Lois Anita Watson, in 1964 in Richmond, IN, and together they raised four wonderful children. Anchored in God, their covenant will serve as a steadfast example for generations to come.

He was a man whose leadership guided not only his own life and family, but also impacted countless individuals and friends he mentored along the way. An unwavering man, he wasn't afraid to take risks, dream boldly, or discern the path God placed before him. His generosity came naturally, and he invested deeply in others—coaching, discipling, and lifting up anyone the Lord brought across his path. He understood his identity in Christ and devoted himself to a life's mission of "making Heaven full."

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Watson, daughter, Tyla Watson, son, Charles Brandon Watson, and brother, Frank (Buleah) Watson. Charlie's mission is carried on by his two daughters Tonda (Everett) McClellan, Shanda (Jim) Driller; eight grandchildren Casi (Rob) Egli, Niko (Emily) McClellan, Charlie (Katie) Watson, Danny VanWinkle, Savana (Tyler) Renners, Madisyn Driller, Shayla (Ben) Autry, Shyana Watson; 17 great-grandchildren; and his brothers Dick (Linda) Watson and Billy (Nancy) Watson.

A service to celebrate Charlie's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, beginning with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the service immediately following at Richmond Community of Faith Church, 4200 South A Street, Richmond, IN 47374. Rev. Phillip Hodgkin and Jim Driller will officiate. Burial will follow at Earlham Cemetery.
