Cathy Jo Thompson, 68, of Richmond, passed away September 15, 2021, at Reid Health after a long illness. She was born January 15, 1953, in Richmond to Ray and Frances Scalf and lived here most of her life.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Walter E. Thompson, three children  Timothy (Karen) Sparks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Thomas (Stephanie) Sparks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Angela (Tony) Thompson Lee of Richmond, five grandchildren, two sisters and one brother Frances Conley, Daniel Scalf, Kelly (William) Sluis, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
