Carroll "Terry" Dye of Richmond, Indiana passed away surrounded by the family that he loves on January 17, 2025, at the age of 81.  Terry was born on February 3, 1943, in Cambridge City, Indiana.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth, his children Sherry Dye, Terrance Dye (Jill), Bill Dye (Donna), Tina Quisenberry (Mike), Josh Dye (Lauren), eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donnie Howell.   Terry lived the majority of his life in Richmond, where he worked at Primex for nearly 30 years.  In addition, he served as an IHSAA-licensed umpire and worked in the firearm department at Dunham's.  In his younger years, he was an avid off-road and drag racer and he enjoyed hunting throughout his life.    A showing will be held on Friday, January 24th from 4-7 PM at Stegall-Berheide-Orr in Richmond.
