Carolyn Sue Steffee

Carolyn Sue Steffee 88 of Richmond passed away on August 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio to Orla M. and Alma A. Stewart Evans and lived in Springfield, Ohio before moving to Richmond in 2012.

She was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Springfield, and a current member of Southview Church of the Nazarene here in Richmond.

Carolyn owned Lasting Impressions Catering; she loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, David George Steffee, two sons Brian (Teresa) Steffee of Centerville, and Mark Steffee of Richmond; two grandchildren Brandon (Brook) Steffee, Joshua (Ashley) Steffee, seven great grandchildren Paisley, Penelope, Brantley, Braxton, Bristol, Henry and Holton; one brother Larry K. (Carol) Evans, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Marty Holman officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Friday at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
