Carol Ann Hilling Humphrey Morris passed from this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2024, at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. Carol was born January 28, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Richard C. and Lorraine (Chapman) Hilling and lived in Richmond most of her life before moving to Coffeyville, Kansas, in 2007. She returned to Indiana in May of 2023.

Carol is survived by her three children, Julie (Joe) Mullins, Ted (Carol) Humphrey, and Ben Humphrey, five stepchildren and their families, four grandchildren, Sean Mullins, Jenny (Josh) Yeager, Laura Humphrey (Jason Parker), and Paul Humphrey, two sisters, Laurel (Raoul) Moore and Linda (Billy) McQuade, four nephews, one niece, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim, who died in 2022, one daughter Christine Curro, who also died in 2022, and one brother, James R. Hilling, who died at birth.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor William McQuade officiating. The burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. There will be no public calling.
