Carl Nelson Collier, born September 27, 1935, originally from London KY, now living with his wife and daughter in Cypress TX, passed away March 12, 2025, at home with loved ones around him.  He had been battling renal failure for the past several months.

Carl is survived by his wife of almost 72 years and the love of his life, Aletta Collier.  His daughter Debbie Bryant and two grandchildren Ryan (Lindi) Bryant of Damon TX and Christina (Andrew) Ramirez of Cypress, TX.  He had five great-grandchildren Presley Bryant, Layla Bryant, Beckett Bryant, Mason Ramirez, and Mia Ramirez. Carl has one brother Forrest (Eleanor) Collier of Vandalia Oh, and Three sisters Aletta Silvis of Bend Or, Catherine (Paul) Egly of Hemet Ca and Ruth Jean (Dave) Brandt of Las Vegas NV—also lots and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins he loved so very much.

Preceding him in death are his father Nelson Collier and Ollie Philpot Dilworth, his son-in-law Randy Bryant, two brothers Coleman Collier, and Emmanuel Collier, and one sister Juanita Dallahita.

Carl grew up in East Bernstead KY, and moved to Indiana in 1953, which was home to him until he moved to Cypress in 2015.  He worked at Wallace Metal, Eaton Gear, D & M, and a couple of nursing homes before retiring in 1998.   He was always a hardworking man at the factories and still found time to build 4 houses and remodeled too many to mention.  His hobbies were fishing, camping, hunting, and going on cruises.  He volunteered at Reid Hospital where he received his 1000 hours of dedication to his job.  Carl loved helping others and would always found time to go visit the sick.  He was a dedicated family man, a hard worker, and truly loved life, he will be so dearly missed by so many.
