Brian Scott McNew, 56 of Richmond, passed away September 12, 2025, at Brickyard Richmond Care Center. He was born on November 3, 1968, in Richmond to Gene Edward Sr. and Delores Ponder McNew and lived in this area all of his life.

He worked as a Material Handling Technician.

Brian enjoyed Off-Roading, riding ATVs, Boating, Drag Racing, Muscle cars, and anything with an engine.

He is survived by his mother Delores, one son Jeremy (Bridget) McNew of Fountain City, two grandchildren, Emberly and River; one brother, Gene Edward (Kelly) McNew Jr. of Connersville, one sister, Melissa (Jim) Gross of Hollandsburg, Ohio, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, one brother, Stephen L. McNew.

A Celebration of Life will be private and at the convenience of the family. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
