Brenda Joyce Iva Stone 71, of Richmond, died unexpectedly in her home on October 2, 2021. She was born July 30, 1950, in Richmond to Robert H. and Iva Minnix Starn and lived in this area most of her life.

She was a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her significant other Jack A. Stevens of Richmond, two sons Brian (Ella) Patton of Stuart, Florida, Todd Andrew (Tracy) Patton of North Palm Beach, Florida, her daughter Amy Patton of Richmond, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; five sisters Bonnie Tillery, Susie (Kim) Kibele, Jean Cassel, Patty Kirkland, Diana (Roy) Patton, three brothers Joe (Sandy) Starn, Jack (Sharion) Starn, Jan (Dorothy) Starn, Several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Barbara Carter-Raper, four brothers Bob, Jay, James, Jerry, and her husband Joe Stone.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with burial in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
