Billy Gene Glenn age, 86, of Richmond went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was born April 11, 1938, in Garrard, Kentucky to Herbert Ezra and Elizabeth Helen Gilliam and had lived here since 1979.

He retired from Nu-maid Margarine Company. Known as the "Cornbread Preacher," Billy evangelized and was Pastor at the Boston Old Time Holiness Church for 19 years.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years Marie, five children Charlotte (Craig) Hale of Liberty, Pamela Kay (Wilgus) Mays of Connersville, Ruby Dianne (Buck) Mays of Connersville, Keith (Sheryl) Glenn of Richmond, Cheryl Marie (Lee) Mays of Economy, fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two half-sisters Linda Sue (Ronnie) Phillips and Wanda Louise (Douglas) Helton, one half-brother Jesse Lee (Janie) Glenn nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Pat Hickey, and one brother Greeley Glenn.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Brother Lee Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Boston Cemetery.
