Beverly Day Hoffman, 71, of Barryton MI died July 7th. "Bev", daughter of James and Anna Day, and loving wife of Gary Hoffman passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her sons, Charles J. Reece (Dolores) of Florida, Ronald C. Reece (Ashley) of Ohio, and stepdaughters Mel Williams and Jennifer Hoffman of Michigan. Eleven(11) Grandchildren - Brianna (Cody) Stuckman, Brock Reece, Skyler, Hayley and Xavier Reece, Stephanie Wolgamott, Christopher Manco, Jr., Lauren Manco, Landon Hoffman, Michael and Mandy Williams.  Ten(10) Great-grandchildren - Corbin, Emma, Paxton, Madelyn, Hudson, Charlotte, Raegon, McKenzie, Austin and Scarlett. Her Loving friends Connie Degraw, Debby Haynes, Mel, and Denise Deaton. Lawanna Burkhart and Eddie and Mel Williams. She is preceded in death by her stepdaughter Kelly Hoffman, her granddaughter Jessica Abbott, her Uncle William "Bill" Senters, her time friend Linda Bostick, and her sister by fate Nancy Rogers.

Bev was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana where she graduated from Richmond High School in 1971, then moved on to work at Belden for 40 years until she retired on December 19, 2013.  Bev was a vigorous lifelong Gardener. She was deeply connected to nature, the natural beauty that came along with it, and all the animals that would visit her land. "A True Snow White".

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on July 12, 2024, at Stegall Berheide Orr Funeral Home at 222 North 10th Street, Richmond Indiana. Alton Hale will officiate.  After the service, Bev will be laid to rest in Earlham Cemetery in Richmond IN.  A visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
