Betty Ann Skaggs 67 of Richmond, passed away on August 25, 2022, at her home after a long illness. She was born May 19, 1955, in Richmond to William and Bessie Chappell Thomas and lived here all of her life.

Betty worked in the plastics industry and was a member of Christ United Church.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Darrell Skaggs, her father, two grandsons Cody and Nicholas; three sisters Rosetta (Brian) Thomas-Murray, Vicki (Jeff) Thomas-Morris, Sandy Thomas-McCoy, her very special niece Stephanie McCoy, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, one son David Barker, her brother Billy Thomas, one brother-in-law Gary Skaggs, and her sister-in-law Christa Adkins.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating; burial will be in Hollansburg Cemetery.
