Betty Lou Davis (Davies) was born in Boston IN on October 13, 1938 and passed away June 11, 2024. She was the daughter of Rhea Grace Ketron and Morgan John Davies. She was the youngest of three siblings, Rhea Jean Raver and Ruby J. McBide. She married her high school sweetheart and entered the role of an Army wife until 1977 when the family relocated to Florida. She resided in Hudson for forty years before moving to Timber Pines in Spring Hill in 2018.

After relocating to Florida, she began a career in the banking business. Starting as a teller, she progressed through the ranks of Barnett Bank, becoming a branch manager at several locations including the Bayonet Point Branch.

She was an incredibly strong woman and the matriarch of her family. She enjoyed sharing pictures of her grand kids and great grand kids. She loved to read, solve crossword puzzles, genealogy and was the family champion in Scrabble. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed an occasional glass of wine.

She is survived by her three children: Lynda D. Davis of Spring Hill, FL; Patrick A. Davis of Spring Hill, FL; Bonny J. Lane (Bob) of Williston FL; Four grand children, Jessica Thornton (Ian), Rob Lane (Leah), Chris Lane (Carli), Mike Lane (Julie), Seven great-grand children and her husband Lamont P. Davis of Spring Hill, FL. She was dearly loved by her family and friends. Her internment will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Boston Cemetery in Boston Indiana.
