Barbara K. Hopkins, 75, of Richmond, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Reid Health.  She was born August 31, 1950, in Richmond to George and Ruby (Griffin) Curtis.  She retired from Golden Engineering, where she worked as a supervisor.

She is survived by her three children Lisa Jacob, Mike (Christy) Hopkins, Derek (Jayme) Hopkins; her grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Ellison, Michael (Sydney) Jacob, Cassidy (Andy) Thomas, Josh (Monica) Hopkins, Taylor McVey, Jaxon McVey; great grandchildren, Jaslyn Moore, Joshua Ellison, Bradley Jacob, Eleanor Thomas; her sister, Dorothy Solmos and brother Fred Curtis, neices and nephews.

Her husband, Danny Hopkins, died in 2006, her parents, her brother, and her sisters, Betty Sanders, Ann Curtis, Steve Curtis, and Carolyn Baumer.
