Alta Mae Hawkins 87 formerly of Richmond living in Grove City, Ohio died February 1, 2021, at Meadow Grove Transitional Care in Grove City. She was born December 24, 1933, in Richmond to A.C. and Ethel Crabtree Crockett. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Grove City. Alta loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alta is survived by two sons Roger (Beverly) Hawkins and Glen (Connie) Hawkins, five grandchildren Shane, Ross, Lisa, Caleb, and Jessica Hawkins, her great-grandchildren, two sisters Dorothy (Robert) Arthur and Erma Burley, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Glen Harrison Hawkins, one son Douglas Hawkins, and one grandson Lucas Hawkins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral home with Rev. Kevin Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
