A. Lorene Himebaugh age 99 of Richmond died Friday, October 21, 2022, at Forest Park Health Care. She was born on November 16, 1922, in Randolph County to Claud and Myrtle Shook Mills and lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and retired in 1982 working as a bookkeeper for Sears.

Lorene was a former member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer at Reid Health and a member and past President of the DeMolay Mothers Club.

Survivors include two children James (Anna Marie) Himebaugh of Cincinnati and Marilyn Sue Osborn of Richmond, and six grandchildren Jennifer (Paul) Evans, Rebecca (Brett) Lafuze, Anne (Matt) Turner, Jeffrey (Marie) Himebaugh, Thomas Himebaugh, and Robert Himebaugh, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters Fae Spradling of Winchester and Judy Hansen of Greenfield, many nieces, and nephews. Her husband of 53 years Norman died on November 7, 2001. She is also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lawrence, Lloyd, Leland, Max, Edwin, Ivan, and Herman Mills, and three sisters Joan Huffman, Wanda Bowman, and Barbara Maner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev Malcolm Greene officiating. Her burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to a favorite charity.
