Vernie Roberts 79 of Richmond died February 26, 2013 at Rosebud Village after a long illness. She was born September 21, 1933 in Brookville, Indiana to Sam and Mariah Roberts and lives here since 1971.

She worked for Alco-Crosley in assembly.

She is survived by her two brothers Sam Roberts of Brookville, Elmer Roberts of Ravenna, Ky., several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
