Mary Jane Ridgeway 87 of Richmond died October 4, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Golden Rule. She was born September 29, 1925 in Richmond to Antonio and Dorothy Fratellio Malloris, and lived in Richmond all her life.

Mary formerly worked at Melody Skate Land, founded Ike and Mary’s Hobby Shop with her husband Ike, retired from Belden Corporation, and formerly worked at Earlham College after retirement.

Survivors include her two children Robert (Judy Werner) Ridgeway of Richmond and Karen (Wayne A.) Ward of Portland, two grandchildren Rachele (Mat) Temme of Kokomo, and Matthew Ridgeway of Richmond, three great grandchildren Kelsey and Katelyn Temme, and Wyatt Ridgeway, one brother Arthur Malloris of New Carlisle, Ohio, and one sister Shirley Malloris of Indianapolis.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ike Ridgeway, who died July 21, 2012. Her parents, step-father Earl Sloan, and four brothers Tony, Bobby, Richard, and Johnny Malloris are also deceased.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday October 9, 2012 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Ward officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
